Updating a printer driver
After selecting a product type, product series and product name, a list of matching models will appear.
Click the “Drivers & Software” link for the appropriate model. Select “Windows” from the Operating System drop-down, and select the appropriate version: 64-bit operating systems are listed with “(x64)” after the names, and operating systems without this notation are 32-bit.
A Driver Update Program will instantly resolve your drivers problems by scanning your PC for outdated, missing or corrupt drivers, which it then automatically updates to the most compatible version.Alternatively, you can use the device manager to check if there are problems with any of your hardware devices. In many cases the answer to this is yes, however in some cases the manufacturers no longer make the Drivers available so you need to use a Driver Update Tool to install the missing Drivers. The software will check if your HP Deskjet Drivers are up-to-date.If your Drivers need to be updated you can either search the HP website for updated drivers or register the drivers software to receive automated Driver updates for all your devices.
With the launch of new operating systems such as Windows 7 peripheral devices like your printer will require updated drivers to keep working.
